We follow her as she deals with the comical but painfully real anxieties and insecurities of teenage life, along with the stark reality of a home life that is far removed from what she projects to her friends. Bethan has hit rock bottom, but she decides to fight back.

With Trina sectioned again, Bethan is at her lowest ebb. She decides to fight back, throwing herself into running for head girl against Poppy.

Bethan tries to derail manipulative Poppy’s attempt to become head girl by standing against her in the election. She also decides that it is time Tony Chippy paid for his actions. Bethan also visits Trina in hospital, where she finally comes to the realisation that her mother will never truly understand her, but maybe that’s okay.
