To reflect the times we are living in, Cathy MacDonald with the help of her guests Bishop David Chillingworth of the Scottish Episcopal Church, and Dr Yahya Barry founder and director of The Olive Tree Madrasah, navigate through some of the issues facing us.  
 
That we are in this new living arrangement for the long haul isn’t perhaps a surprise but it’s maybe a good time to examine some elements of character which will help us through, such as patience and resilience.   
 
Dr Yahya Barry explores how these values are of particular importance during the month of Ramadan, and the challenges facing Muslims at this time.   
 
Buddhist nun, Kelsang Machig, reflects on our dependence on consumerism and asks if we’ve reached a point now where we can say - we have enough.   
 
Linda Woodhead, Professor of Religion and Society at Lancaster University believes that the NHS could be replacing the role of the church in society.  She joins our guests to discuss if our NHS is our new moral compass. 
 
One change many of us will have to get used to is not being able to travel. We’ve taken cheap flights, weekend city breaks, visiting family overseas a bit for granted.  As airlines face an uncertain future, and the pandemic continues its hold across the world, will we take to the skies again?
