Nikki Lilly is a vlogger and CBBC star with a life-threatening medical condition. Last summer, Nikki let the cameras follow her as she went through her toughest year of her life.

I Will Survive was filmed over the summer of 2018 and follows the life of vlogger Nikki Lilly.

After winning Junior Bake-Off two years ago, Nikki has become a vlogger with over 350,000 followers on YouTube and her own CBBC series. But the onset of puberty has caused serious health problems related to her AVM, the medical condition she has been aware of since she was 6.

Picking up her story after a serious bleed forced doctors to but her into an induced coma, this documentary follows her as she struggles through major operations and immense pain while also celebrating her birthday, attending YouTube's Summer in the City event and finally returning to school.

Combining observational footage, video diaries and her own vlogs, this film is an intimate and personal insight into the resilience and enduring bravery of an amazing young woman.
