Rare recordings of Fred Hunt in duo format. 

Mike Bracewell introduces some rare recordings of the duo formed by himself and pianist Fred Hunt, which he had the wisdom to record. 


Fred Hunt was the celebrated pianist with the famous Alex Welsh Jazz Band. He often took a solo spot at intervals, and invited drummer Mike Bracewell to join him. The resultant duo worked together to great success. Mike was able to record some of these performances and they are now available on a new CD. Mike joins Walter Love to talk about a very happy musical partnership.
