And each week there’s a big interview with star name from music, fashion, football, and more – they’ll be sharing what excites them in music right now. 

This Is Africa also each week features DJ Edu’s Ten in Ten: 10 tracks from 10 different countries in 10 minutes. 
And there’s a focus on new talent every time – the programme will always be introducing up and coming artists from a different African country.

This Is Africa is three months old! This week we’re offering a second chance to hear how it all began: it’s the launch party in Lagos.  We had guests from as far apart as Morocco and South Africa, we had live performances from Simi and Joeboy from Nigeria and from Sheebah from Uganda, and your host DJ Edu is put through his paces in a soundclash – will he be the man to throw down the hottest tunes on the continent?
