New York City closes bars and restaurants

New York City shuts its bars, restaurants and schools to prevent spread.

The United States gears up its response to the pandemic with closures of schools and bars. In New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio said he decided to act because "our city is facing an unprecedented threat, and we must respond with a wartime mentality".

Also on the programme: we look at the criticism around the UK's approach to the virus; and we hear from the Muslims asking about their future in India following sectarian violence in Delhi.
