EU countries take drastic measures in bid to stop spread of virus

Several European countries have reported steep rises in infections and deaths. Italy still in the grip of coronavirus and following the increase of cases Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez says a state of alert will come into effect today. 

How has the Italian Government handled the coronavirus? And what happens when the pandemic hits the most vulnerable in the Gaza strip and refugee camps?
