In the latest round of US primaries, the former vice-president came out ahead of Bernie Sanders.

Joe Biden has cemented his lead as front-runner in the Democratic race to take on President Donald Trump in November's White House election. He beat his rival Bernie Sanders in the key state of Michigan.
