Italy is Europe's worst-hit country and reported a steep rise in virus infections on Saturday

At least 16 million people are in mandatory quarantine in Lombardy region and also in 14 provinces in northern Italy after a new decree signed off by the Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. The lock-down will last until early April

Also in the programme: we talk about the ceasefire in  Idlib Province that was agreed after a long meeting between the Russian and Turkish leaders; and Lebanon decision to first ever default on a foreign currency debt

Joining Julian Worricker to discuss these and other issues are Baroness Arminka Helic, member of the UK House of Lords and Dave Clark, news editor for the French news Agency, AFP.
