This programme filmed before al-Bashir was ousted, features Dr Tom Catena an American doctor and missionary who has been working in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan for over thirteen years, treating as many as 400 patients a day at the Mother of Mercy Hospital. We follow Dr Tom and his mostly local staff as they work tirelessly to save lives under the threat of daily bombardment during al-Bashir's regime.
