After Brexit, Glasgow's Roma population face challenges in securing settled status.     

Now that the UK has left the European Union, EU nationals must apply for settled status to continue living in the UK. Glasgow's Roma population face tough challenges in securing settled status.

Now that the UK has left the European Union, EU nationals must apply for settled status to continue living in the United Kingdom. Glasgow has a large Roma population from eastern Europe and, as Niall O’ Gallagher reports, they face particular challenges in securing settled status.
     
Annabel Maclennan is in Marseille, France, reporting on a  campaign by mothers in the deprived northern district of the city to channel some of the millions of euros confiscated by the French police from criminal gangs each year into social projects to help prevent local young people from getting involved in organised crime.
