UK officially leaves EU starting future relationship negotiations

Britain has officially left the EU prompting celebrations and concern around the UK and EU, and starting an eleven month period of negotiations to decide the future relationship between the two. 

Also on the programme: Democrats hopes that four moderate Republicans would defect and join them in voting for witnesses have been dashed, paving the way for a speedy acquittal of President Trump. And: fighting intensifies in Idlib province in Syria’s northwest as government forces push for control of the last rebel-held enclave.
