Over the next four weeks, Nell celebrates a different area of the Big Apple that gave rise to a different genre of music, and a generation of great artists. And she looks at the effect that music had on the city and how that music then went on to become popular around the world.

Tonight in Part Two of Nell's Kitchen, Nell travels south to Midtown, that part of Manhattan that gave rise to Disco. On her journey of discovery, Nell travels through Midtown to find the iconic venues that launched the careers of some of the disco divas and talks to Alfa Anderson from Chic about her memories of Limelight and Studio 54. All accompanied by a great disco soundtrack.
