Should Stormont return before an Assembly election first? 

Power sharing talks to restore Stormont resume today, but should it return without an Assembly election first? 

Talks aimed at restoring power sharing in Northern Ireland are expected to resume today. The British and Irish governments had been holding talks with the parties but they were paused over the Christmas holidays.

The parties have until 13th January to broker a deal. But one former MLA says let the people speak first. 

Eamonn McCann says there should be 'no return' without an Assembly election. But do you agree?
