Janice picks out two favourite interviews from across the year: Annie Lennox, fresh from her appearance at TedX Glasgow and Billy Connolly on his latest book of comic yarns.

Janice revisits special interviews from earlier this year. She chats to Annie Lennox fresh from her appearance onstage at TedX Glasgow in June in which the singer, songwriter, campaigner and activist talks about why she is committed to highlighting the inequalities experienced by millions of women and girls around the world.  We hear from another inspiring woman dubbed ‘The Oprah of Afghanistan”, Mozhdah Jamalzadah,  the pop star, activist and presenter who revolutionised Afghan TV.   Stephen Fry reveals how the stories of Greek Gods led him to write Mythos : A Trilogy -Gods, Heroes, Men and then transfer them to the Edinburgh stage and Janice also catches up with Billy Connolly when he was in Scotland in October to launch his latest book Tall Tales and Wee Stories, a collection capturing his unique comic yarns, written down for the first time.
