Skye wants to see Scarlett but Dexter has to tag along.

The boiler's broken so it's freezing.   

Jak has found a soulmate in Ryan-the-heating-engineer (or Brian-the-plumber) who is making the job last days.  Skye can't leave Dexter at home because Ryan/Brian keeps leaving the door open and she's worried Dex will run down the street and get in some randomer's car.  It's happened before.  

Skye is used to having Dexter in tow, but now she wants to play guitar with Scarlett.  Just the two of them.

Skye and Dexter return in this heart-breaking, heart-warming story for Children in Need.

Skye is now 16 and Dexter seven. They live in Gainsborough in Lincolnshire, where standing out as different doesn't always end well.

Skye and Dexter's story is developed through close collaboration with BBC Children in Need, who help us with their research resources and expertise. It is also inspired by ongoing voluntary work in Gainsborough. On the recommendation of CinN, we have begun a longer-term partnership with SAYiT, a Sheffield-based charity they fund that provides practical support around LGBT+ life, sexual health, HIV and mental wellbeing.
