Molly's father travelled to the US in 2019 to meet other parents bereaved by suicide.

Molly Russell's father Ian travelled to the United States in 2019 to meet other parents bereaved by suicide.

Molly Russell was just 14 when she took her own life. After she died her family found graphic posts about suicide and self-harm on her Instagram account.  

Her father Ian spoke out, making headlines around the world and forcing Instagram into a promise to remove the most harmful content. 
In 2019,  the BBC followed Ian Russell as he took his campaign for a safer Internet to the US.
