How small events in Chile and Lebanon triggered an outpouring of public anger.

The governments of Chile and Lebanon are this week reeling under the impact of massive protests.  Both were triggered by apparently small events, but tapped into long-standing public grievances.  Fernanda Paul of BBC Mundo and Carine Torbey of BBC Arabic compare events in their countries.

Ghana’s Year of Return
Ghana declared 2019 the "Year of Return".  It marks 400 years since the first enslaved Africans arrived in Virginia, USA, and Ghana’s government is encouraging people of African descent to visit as tourists, or even come for good.
