Syria's army reaches the north of the country to help Kurdish forces facing Turkey

Syria's army reaches the north of the country to help Kurdish forces facing Turkey.

Syria's army has started to reach the north of the country, hours after the government agreed to help Kurdish forces facing Turkey. The deal came after the US, the Kurds' main ally, said it would withdraw its remaining troops from northern Syria.  We hear from our BBC reporter on the border.  

Also, K-pop star Sulli has been found dead aged 25. Police are investigating the cause of her death. We hear reaction from a journalist in Seoul.

And after Catalonia's nine separatist leaders were given jail sentences, thousands of people have taken to the streets in Barcelona to protest. We get the latest from our reporter on the ground.
