The clerics who profit from exploiting Iraq’s vulnerable women and children: BBC Arabic's Nawal Al-Maghafi investigates the business of temporary "pleasure" marriages.

BBC Arabic’s  Nawal Al-Maghafi's report Undercover with the Clerics: Iraq's Secret Sex Trade exposes some clerics at two of Iraq’s holiest sites sexually exploiting children and young women, using a controversial religious practice called 'pleasure marriage'. 

Meet Serbia's Mickey Mouse 
Mickey Mouse arrived in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in the 1930s, and quickly spawned a local imitation, Mika Miš.  He looked the same but drank the local spirit, rakija, and listened to Radio Belgrade.  As the Walt Disney Company celebrates its 95th anniversary, Uros Dimitrijevic of BBC Serbian traces its history in former Yugoslavia.

Indigenous protests in Ecuador

The Blue Diamond Mystery 
In 1989, a Thai cleaner in the palace of a Saudi prince stole jewels worth around $20m.  Although he was caught, many of the jewels remain missing, including a rare blue diamond.  BBC Thai’s Sucheera Maguire tells us why this crime continues to have repercussions today.
