Package tour operator Thomas Cook is expected to announce it will go into administration

The future of package tour operator Thomas Cook is hanging in the balance amid last minute negotiations to save the holiday firm from collapse. The BBC’s transport correspondent Tom Burridge has the latest.

On Monday world leaders will gather in New York ahead of the UN General Assembly to update their national pledges to reduce CO2 emissions. We hear from a professor of climate and development as well as one small business on how hard it can be to go green.

The 71st Primetime Emmy Awards are taking place in Los Angeles, with both the hit comedy Veep and fantasy epic Game of Thrones in their final seasons this year, with one last chance to snatch Emmy glory. Entertainment reporter KJ Matthews reports from Hollywood.
