Jason meets West End superstar Cassidy Janson and we have live music from MOBO award-winners Volney Morgan and New Ye, one of the freshest acts in British gospel.

One of the most uplifting and fresh live acts in contemporary Gospel, Volney Morgan and New Ye, comes to Good Morning Sunday, as they release a new EP 'Empowered By Life'. 

Volney tells Jason Mohammad about the inspiration behind the new music, and the fact it’s not just for those with a faith. Ahead of  BBC Music Day celebrating the power of music, the MOBO-award winning choir will explain why gospel music is so powerful, and demonstrate why we love it by performing live.

Plus Cassidy Janson, West End royalty pops into studio. Cassidy is starring in a brand new musical '& Juliet' which imagines what would happen if Juliet's famous ending, was just her beginning. To a soundtrack of modern pop bangers, obviously! Plus Cassidy tells us about her debut album, featuring a song written especially for her from her friend Carole King.

And we meet another extraordinary Charity Champion, doing something amazing for a cause they are passionate about.
