The Italian connection between Llanberis and Morbegno was established in 1980 when a group of italian runners participated in the 5th Snowdon Race, an annual event that was founded and organised by Ken Jones. Who would have thought, 40 year on, both villages, communities, races and the local running clubs are still connected.
