Keane perform live in the Radio 2 Piano Room with music from their new album Cause and Effect. It's Keane’s fifth studio album and their four previous records have all entered the UK charts at number 1 and reached sales of over 13 million worldwide and 2.6 billion streams. The birth of this new album came as something of a surprise even to the band. Singer Tom Chaplin had released two successful solo albums but missed his old sparring partner Tim Rice-Oxley. “I found myself wondering how I had come to let this very enigmatic and important relationship in my life drift,” Tom says. Meanwhile Tim found his life falling apart and from the ashes had written an album’s worth of incredibly personal songs fuelled by humour as well as pain. 
Mary Wilson, one of the founding members of Motown Records iconic group The Supremes picks her Tracks of My Years with songs from Donna Summer and Hank Ballard and The Midnighters . In 1959 a young African-American songwriter named Berry Gordy founded Tamla Records with a loan of eight hundred dollars from his family, marking the birth of Motown Records Corporation. It created a sound that has become one of the most significant musical success stories of the 20th century as the music continues to be embraced by every generation. In its classic era of the 1960s - Motown's artists were among the most popular. The Supremes, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, Gladys Knight and the Pips were all brought through Motown against the background of a growing civil rights movement.
