Jeanette Kwakye introduces a unique athletics meeting that sees some of the world’s best athletes competing in distinctive urban environments in Stockton-on-Tees and Newcastle. 

Jeanette Kwakye introduces a unique meeting that welcomes some of the world’s best athletes to compete in distinctive urban environments in the heart of Stockton-on-Tees and at Quayside in Newcastle. 

Stockton High Street is transformed into an athletics spectacle with thousands of sports fans getting a close view of the stars on show. Commonwealth heptathlon champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson is a contender in both the long jump and the 150m sprint. European 5000m silver medallist Eilish McColgan takes on Jess Judd in a competitive mile race from the Quayside in Newcastle, while in the T44 100m, para star Jonnie Peacock takes on Felix Streng, who defends his title from 2018.

Commentary comes from Steve Cram, Andrew Cotter and Paula Radcliffe, with Colin Jackson giving his expert knowledge trackside.
