A brand-new production of the hit musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat” is currently touring the UK. We chat to stars of the show Jaymi Hensley, who plays Joseph, and Alexandra Doar, who plays the narrator, with a live performance in the studio.

In the lead-up to the international women’s golf tournament the Solheim Cup, we sent reporter Frankie Vaughan to Gleneagles to find out more about an initiative to get more women into golf.

The annual Nairn Book and Arts Festival kick-starts this weekend with an action-packed event for the whole community. We chat to this year’s festival co-ordinator, Elle Tyler, from our studio in Inverness.

With the kids back at school, weekends can become a frantic time for the family. Emily Esson takes a mindful moment in one of her favourite places in Aberdeenshire. 

Kicking off the second hour, we get in on the action at the Dundee Flower and Food Show. 

If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at a spot of stone masonry, The Engine Shed in Stirling is hosting a family discovery day to showcase and celebrate traditional construction skills.  We chat to Chuck Jones, Technical Conservation Skills Programme Manager at Historic Environment Scotland, and Lara Townsend, a traditional stone carver-in-training.

Innerpeffray Library, Scotland’s first lending library, will be open to the public for Doors Open Days this weekend. Nicola takes a tour of the library and their brand new heritage trail. 

And we end the show with one of Scotland’s fluffiest Instagram stars: Little Lucy the Samoyed! The Dog Lover Show returns to Glasgow’s SECC this weekend, and we chat to festival director Robin Chalmers along with Lucy’s owner, Steven Torney.
