Junk makeover show. At Altrincham Recycling Centre in Greater Manchester, Jay Blades rescues some wooden shelving, a leather sofa and an old filing cabinet.

Restoration expert Jay Blades is at Altrincham Recycling Centre in Greater Manchester on the lookout for three pieces of tip-bound treasure. Woodworking wizard Norman Wilkinson is tasked with creating functional furniture from some wooden shelving, while upholsterer Simion Hawtin-Smith gets to work reimagining a tired leather sofa. Jay has an interesting challenge on his hands with an old filing cabinet, but will he succeed in finding new homes for his upcycled items?
