It's a year since the outbreak of Ebola in the Democratic Republic of Congo began.  More than 1,800 people have died, with the latest cases in Goma, a large city and important transport hub.  It's an area BBC Africa's Gaius Kowene knows well.  

Gwadar: the Omani connection 
The port city of Gwadar in Pakistan’s Balochistan Province is today an important link in China’s Belt and Road project.  But historically Gwadar had ties with Oman, across the Arabian Sea, links BBC Urdu's Saher Baloch has been exploring.
