Actor Dave Anderson discusses playing the great Chic Murray in Chic Murray: A Funny Place for a Window.

Grant will be talking to Actor, Dave Anderson about playing the late great, Chic Murray in Writer/Director Stuart Hepburn’s brilliant play, (and astute precis of his life and career)   Chic Murray: A Funny Place for a Window.

He will also discuss The World Press Photo Exhibition, (at the Scottish Parliament Main Hall) which showcases some of the most thought-provoking photographs taken over the course of 2018 - with photographer and filmmaker Olivia Harris, and curator of the exhibition, Yi Wen Hsia.

Also on the show another chance to hear Grant  in conversation with Former Sex Pistol, Glen Matlock who wrote arguably the most famous Punk song ever in “Pretty Vacant”; along with the music for many of the Sex Pistols classics including “God Save the Queen” and “Anarchy in the U.K.” 

He’ll have a special report on ‘Joana Vasconcelos presents Gateway’: following on from Jupiter Artland's 2018 presentation, it’s an amazing and intricately designed ‘pool’, set within a landscaped formal garden and accompanied by a delicate glass dome space.   

All that and  Guys and Dolls Jr’  - an adaptation of the show considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy!  The classic musical which originally opened in Broadway in 1950 to rave reviews and went on to win dozens of awards, is a romantic comedy in the world of gangsters and gamblers.  Theatre Royal’s Creative Learning Team has been working with ‘young budding performers’ to put on this ambitious stage show – we’ll hear all about it
