This series follows vets across Scotland as they tend to small, large and very wild animals. Fiona Crowden and Ingrid Kidd are in Angus to operate on a foal with a hernia, but they have to sedate the mother as well to keep her calm.

At Five Sisters Zoo, Mo the gibbon has injured her finger after fighting with her younger sister. Vet Romain Pizzi has to knock her out so that he can repair the wound, but catching her is the biggest challenge.

And it's lambing and calving season in South Uist, the busiest time of the year for vet David Buckland.
