At least 33 people have died in Kyoto after an alleged arson attack

The hashtag #PrayForKyoAni has been trending on Twitter after a man is believed to have set fire to an animation studio in Kyoto, Japan. At least thirty-three people have died. A reporter in the city brings us the latest.

Also, the World Health Organisation has declared a "public health emergency of international concern." BBC Monitoring tell us how the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo is being covered in the region.

And we talk about mental health and social media. Instagram has announced that they will hide the number of likes on posts in some countries in an experiment to see if it will help "remove pressure" on users.
