Ken Bruce's Grand Musical Tour - The BBC Concert Orchestra, conductor Stephen Bell and special guest tenor Noah Stewart take us around the world in 120 minutes.

We're off on holiday in search of some musical summer sun. Pack your suitcase, slip on your shades and don't forget your passport as Ken Bruce invites you to join him on his musical grand tour. Your imaginery waterproofs, hiking boots and swimwear are all required as the BBC Concert Orchestra, conductor Stephen Bell and special guest tenor Noah Stewart take us around the world in 120 minutes. The concert includes Espana (Chabrier); Canzoni D'Italia(Langford); The Land of the Mountain and the Flood(MacCunn); Zorba's Dance(Theodorakis) and Fingal's Cave (Mendelssohn) Don't be late - Take off is 8pm.

No Ken... don't bring your budgie smugglers or your mankini! 

During the interval - historian Kathryn Ferry explores Great British holiday traditions - beach huts, holiday camps, donkeys, rock and summer seasons!
