Nicola chats to Gastronaut Stefan Gates about his new book, Science You Can Eat, which is all about why onions make us cry and how to make edible slime.

We head to the TRNSMT festival and get right in at the heart of the action as one of the biggest music festivals in Scotland opens its gates. 

Nicola heads along to Edinburgh Zoo to meet some new arrivals as part of their BrickLive Ocean event. 

We hear about a special Treasure Trove event where you can discover the background of artefacts that you've unearthed in the garden, or by metal detecting.  

Trainers, slippers, high heels… whatever your style, we all need to wear them. A new exhibition at the Museum of Edinburgh is examining footwear from over the past 100 years – with some looking a lot less comfy than others!
