Phil Nichol on faith, ethics and a life in comedy; Rowan Williams and Greg Garrett in conversation; and 'the woman tasked with saving the planet', Christiana Figueres.

From a strict Brethren upbringing to award-winning comedy - comedian, musician and actor, Phil Nichol is Richard’s guest this weekend. 

Kay Hutchison talks Richard through the 37 therapies she tried to help her make changes in her life.

Former Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, and Greg Garrett, theologian and an authority on the Zombie Apocalypse, discuss everything from friendship to U2, and Shakespeare to prayer. 

After being sexually assaulted Ailbhe Griffith decided she would meet her attacker face to face. That encounter has now been made into a film called ‘The Meeting’. Ailbhe and Marie Keenan, an expert in restorative justice, who both appear as themselves in the film, join Richard to explain why it was important to make this piece of work. 

She’s been described as “the woman tasked with saving the planet”. Christiana Figueres, the driving force behind the 2015 Paris Agreement tells Richard what it will take to deal with the climate crisis and why she still feels optimistic.
