Voters in Istanbul vote for a new mayor; German cities offer to take stranded refugees

Voters in  Istanbul go to the polls to elect a new mayor. We'll hear from one of Turkey's most prominent writers.

Also in the programme:  We go to Germany where some cities are offering to take in refugees stranded off Italy.

And President Trump plans major new sanctions on Iran in a bid to stop it developing a nuclear weapon.

Joining Paul Henley to discuss these and other issues are Eunice Goes, professor of politics at Richmond University, and Yascha Mounk, associate professor of the practice of international affairs at Johns Hopkins University.
