Series telling the story of life on the high seas. This episode features stories of life on at sea as witnessed by the many Highland and Islanders who joined the Merchant Navy.

Tales of fun, friendship and foreign climes were leavened by bouts of seasickness, homesickness and some hair-raising escapades! Poetically narrated by the late Martin MacDonald and with an accompanying beautifully evocative music score from Allan MacDonald.
