Our Single of the Week is History by Glasgow’s 100 Fables. Lyndsey and Mark from the band join Janice from our London studio. 

We hear about the highlights and speak to Gareth Nicholls, Director of Ulster American, which was a big winner at the Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland, better known as the CATS. Joyce McMillan and Michael Cox also discuss the current state of expert theatre criticism in light of recent news that the Evening Standard has lost two of their long-standing theatre critics.

Acclaimed choreographer Gary Clarke talks about his new production Wasteland, which has its Scottish Premiere at the Tramway in Glasgow on Friday and Saturday.

Bronwen Livingstone takes a trip to Scottish Ballet to meet the Alzheimer Scotland’s Every Voice Community Choir who have been granted their wish to have the company perform alongside them as part of their Summer concert. 

Billy Differ joins us live from New York to give us the gossip from the TONY awards.
