Nicola Singleton celebrates the seasons in our gardens and on our plates.  This week she visits Branklyn Gardens in Perth to hear about their rock gardens and exotic plants, including the famous blue poppies. 

Head gardener Jim Jermyn explains the story behind the Rentons, who first developed the gardens, and their passion for Himalayan plants. 

Chef Carina Contini celebrates rhubarb season and shows Dan Holland how to make a rhubarb and custard fool – but it’s a far cry from school dinners!
