BBC World Service - BBC OS, Barr defends Mueller report

The US attorney general defends his handling of the Russia investigation.

The US attorney general Bill Barr has defended his handling of the Russia investigation after complaints that he misrepresented the special counsel's findings. BBC's North America reporter tells us about the much-anticipated hearing. 

Also, South African's share their views on runner Caster Semenya losing a landmark case against the athletics' governing body IAAF, meaning it will now be allowed to restrict testosterone levels in female runners. 

And we continue to follow events in Venezuela as President Nicolás Maduro says he has defeated an "attempted coup" by the opposition leader Juan Guaidó.
