European Union leaders are deciding whether to grant Britain more time to leave the EU, after a plea from the prime minister Theresa May.

European Union leaders are considering a plea from the British prime minister Theresa May for more time to avoid Britain leaving the EU on Friday without a deal. Newshour is live from both Brussels and London to bring you the latest.
