Britain’s Youngest Football Boss follows top flight football club West Ham United women’s team and their 19-year-old managing director Jack Sullivan in his first full-time job since leaving school at 16.
 
In episode three, off the back of West Ham’s hard-fought first league win, Jack springs into action in an effort to further enhance his new team’s profile. But an impending injury crisis and calamitous away game soon burst his bubble, and the reality of running a football club starts to bite. 

When results don’t improve and the injury problems deepen, the pressure reaches a critical point for head coach Matt Beard as they go into a make-or-break game against Everton.

As women’s football explodes into the mainstream in the run-up to next summer’s World Cup, Jack’s dad David Sullivan, one of the richest men in Britain and the joint-chairman of West Ham United, has tasked Jack with transforming the fortunes of the women’s team.

Filming on and off the pitch, with episodes released as the 2018/19 season progresses, the series follows the progress of the squad as they debut in the all-new, fully-professional Women’s Super League, competing at the highest level of the women’s game, against some of the toughest teams in the world.

Jack’s first full-time job since leaving school at 16 sees him bringing together a squad of 18 outspoken, powerful women, overseeing a million pound budget, and trying to raise the profile of a growing sport often dismissed and derided by male fans. With exclusive access to the club, players and backroom staff, as well as to Jack and his larger-than-life family, this revealing and inspiring behind-the-scenes story discovers just what it takes to be a professional female footballer in today’s game, and whether a loveable but inexperienced teenager can change the face of women’s football.
