The global economy is in 'synchronised slowdown' according to research by the Brookings Institution and the Financial Times. Is this something to be worries about? A question for  Carl Weinberg, Chief Economist and managing director of High Frequency Economics. The Indian election is scheduled to be held in seven phases from 11th April to 19th May, with votes counted and a result announced on the 23rd May. Shumita Deveshwar, director of India Research at TS Lombard in New Delhi, explains why the economy will play such an important role. Plus, Istabul's new $12 billion airport became fully operational on Sunday. It's hoped it will rival Dubai and help Turkish Airlines compete on routes between Europe, Asia and Africa. Olivier Ponti, Vice President Insights at Forward Keys, explains how likely that aspiration is.
