New research suggests nearly two-fifths of UK businesses have seen an increase in people going off with stress over the past year.

New research suggests nearly two-fifths of UK businesses have seen an increase in people going off with stress over the past year.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development surveyed HR departments in more than a thousand different companies ranging from manufacturing to education.

The results suggest heavy workloads and poor management style are to blame for more people going off work with stress.
