The six remaining MUAs explore kings, queens and everything in between - all under the watchful eye of one of drag’s biggest stars.
South Korean-American drag queen Kim Chi became known for her immaculate and daring make-up looks when starring in RuPauls’s Drag Race. Now, nearly three million followers on Instagram log on to see her latest make-up creations and recreate her colourful looks. Kim Chi meets the MUAs in London’s West End, where they are tasked with making up six drag queens – the ‘Angels’ – from Olivier Award-winning musical Kinky Boots.
The next day in Glow Up HQ, the MUAs are asked to explore gender transformations. Some MUAs opt for a classic drag look, while one attempts a more tricky female-to-male transformation, and another MUA takes on a risky androgynous look.
The two MUAs who impress the least go into the Face Off elimination and have to pull off a drag classic – a dramatic false lash which is bold enough to wow the judges and keep them in the competition. Show less
