Chris brings you highlights from the Saturday night of the 6 Music Festival in Liverpool.

Chris brings you highlights from the Saturday night of the festival including session tracks from Stealing Sheep, Little Simz, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, IDLES and Jon Hopkins.

Liverpool is the host city for the 6 Music Festival 2019, taking place in venues across the city from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 March.

Chris Hawkins brings you highlights from the Saturday night of the festival including session tracks from Stealing Sheep, Little Simz, The Good, The Bad & The Queen, IDLES, Jon Hopkins and slowthai. 

Also on the show, Chris shares his favourite stories from ‘BY DAY’ at Camp and Furnace, which hosted interviews with Craig Charles, IDLES and Little Simz, plus panels on ‘Making Music in Liverpool’ and ‘The Dance Floors of Liverpool’.

There will be live performances and highlights on 6 Music and BBC Sounds across the weekend, with all the performances from Eventim Olympia and Mountford Hall available to watch live and in full at BBC iPlayer and at bbc.co.uk/6music, with catch up for 30 days afterwards.
