Rewind ‘93 brings back all those memorable moments plus the news and events that shaped the year. In January a power failure and high winds force oil tanker MV Braer aground on the southern tip of Shetland, under orders from Boris Yeltsin the army storm the Russian parliament building and Nelson Mandela visits Glasgow, acknowledging an emotional association between him and the city.

It’s the year Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer’s 'Shooting Stars' lights up our screens for the first time and Jurassic Park is a roaring success at the box office.
