Andy heads to the Kalahari Desert in Africa to see how sand grouse chicks drink water.

Andy heads to the Kalahari Desert in Africa to find out how sand grouse chicks drink water. Along the way, he meets a family of elephants and comes face to face with a goshawk.

With the imminent hatching of some new sand grouse chicks at Safari World, Andy and Jen suddenly realise that the sand grouse’s nest is a long way from the watering hole. Given that the chicks can’t fly, they are worried that the new chicks won’t be able to drink. Jetting off in his safari-mobile, Andy heads to the Kalahari Desert in Africa. His mission: to find out how sand grouse chicks drink water. Along the way, he takes a ride with a herd of elephants before coming face to face with a predatory goshawk and taking to the skies with an adult male sand grouse in order to make his escape.
