Do you donate to crowdfunding medical campaigns?  And we speak to the woman whose brother murdered their mother and is now controlling her life from behind bars.

The Daily Mail today has highlighted the story of two families who have different experiences of self-financed private treatment abroad.  According to the BMJ there has been a noteable rise on crowdfunding websites related to health.  More than 540 crowdfunding appeals in the UK have raised £8million since 2012 to send patients for cancer treatments alone.
GoFundMe reports that that number of medical-related campaigns it hosted grew by nearly 30% between 2017 and 2018.  But there have been concerns raised about the evidence behind some of these treatments.
We've all seen the heart rending appeals online to fund medical treatment for individuals when all else has failed.

MAN WHO MURDERED HIS MUM STILL CONTROLS HER ESTATE
In 2014 Ross Taggart brutally killed his own mum at their home in Dunfermline. He was given a life sentence for his crime but, as the executor of her estate, he has repeatedly blocked attempts by his sister to gain access to the house and recover keepsakes. Recent figures suggest that Prince Philip's not alone - one in four car occupants who were killed in crashes in Britain in 2017 weren't wearing one. So why are people still not wearing seat belts?   We speak to Keith Houlistan whose son was killed whilst driving without his seatbelt and Michael McDonnell is the Director of Road Safety Scotland.
