It's an extraordinary tale of spiritual rebirth that saw him go from scoring goals in the Premier League to a career devoted to preaching the word of God as a church minister in Canada. 

Revisiting key locations from his past and re-engaging with significant figures who helped shape his future, he explains the fascinating faith journey that led to him becoming the person he is today. Unflinching in his honesty, Gavin guides us through his life story, talking publicly for the first time about the difficulties of being one of the only openly Christian footballers of his generation, and of the heartwrenching choice to leave a successful career in television to pursue his dream of becoming an evangelist. 

He discusses the impact his decisions had on his family, friends and team-mates, and reveals how their support gave him the confidence to reinvent himself.
