Roddy Hart hosts an evening of songs and stories!

Modern Studies return to The Quay Sessions to share songs from their latest album, Welcome Strangers.  Described as ‘modernist pop weirdness for the 21st century’ the band recorded this collection in rural Perthshire and rustic meets rave to create a multi-instrumental choral groove .  The quartet of Emily Scott, Rob St John, Pete Harvey and Joe Smillie will expand for this show.

Beerjacket is the pseudonym of  singer-songwriter Peter Kelly and his latest album, Silver Cords, is his most ambitious to date.  The collection was recorded over 3 years and is accompanied with 12 short stories.  It has just been released as a hardback book with accompanying CD and Kelly has been playing libraries and bookshops as well as traditional venues.
